CEO/Founder and Body Specialist

With over 20 years of pharmaceutical and medical sales, including over 8 years as a business partner in the Medical Aesthetics industry, Sylvie developed a strong client-focused philosophy and a deep expertise in this sector. Dreaming of building something of her own that would represent all of what she believes in: respect, fun, state-of-the-art technologies and techniques, and a valuable client experience, Sylvie decided to launch The Aesthetic Lounge. She's excited to welcome you and help you look and feel your absolute best!

Sylvie also has a deep passion for health and fitness, which inspired her to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in the Science of Kinesiology 25 years ago. After being diagnosed with Celiac Disease and Osteoarthritis 20 years ago, she focused on weight training and her diet, and even became a certified personal trainer. WIth her deep understanding of body mechanics, she's able to unlock the full potential of our body technologies and provide personalized treatments to our patients.

Leticia Rosero

Medical Aesthetician

Leticia has been an aesthetician for over sixteen years. Eight of them were spent specializing in medical aesthetics. She has extensive knowledge in laser technologies and skincare for all skin types. She is dedicated to her craft and continually takes part in various training to always provide her clients with the most recent techniques, procedures, and knowledge.

She strives for providing a unique client-focused experience; her main priorities as a Medical Aesthetician are to provide excellent customer service and to educate her clients on self-care for their skin and body. She believes that with effective use of advanced skincare/body treatments and client maintenance it is possible to achieve the optimum results people dream of.

Trained By The Advanced Permanent Cosmetics Academy ( Phiacademy), she is also an accomplished microblading artist who specializes in achieving perfect and natural looking eyebrows. She has a keen eye for design and passion for enhancing natural beauty using subtle definition, custom cosmetic artistry, permanent makeup techniques, and color theory. Properly shaped eyebrows will frame your face and create a more youthful appearance.

Maia Nelko NP, MN, BSN

Aesthetic Medicine, Master Cosmetic Injector, Medical Director

Maia is a highly specialized and talented Nurse Practitioner with years of experience in medical aesthetics. She uses a keen eye and masterful technique to enhance, maintain and restore one’s natural beauty.

Maia was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and subsequently Masters in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner designation. She worked in various capacities including primary care, emergency medicine and neonatal intensive care before channeling her passion for medical aesthetics into a full-time career.

Maia has since relocated to Toronto and now Ottawa. She has had the privilege of working with renowned cosmetic surgeons who have enhanced her knowledge and expertise.

Maia’s facial rejuvenation artistry is achieved through the use of dermal fillers, neuromodulators and biostimulators, masterfully using these techniques to achieve a natural look.

Maia also has a keen interest in the effect of hormones on one’s skin and health.

Maia’s passion for the art of aesthetic nursing drives her to stay on top of the latest techniques, procedures, and advancements by regularly attending continuing education training courses and seminars.

Maia is truly passionate about her work. She is dedicated to developing and maintaining long-term relationships with her patients, working very hard to ensure that each and every patient’s goals are understood and achieved.
