This medical skin treatment exfoliates the top layer of skin (epithelial cells) and removes peach fuzz (vellus hair) to create a smooth and hairless face. It is a scraping procedure which means it does not disturb the hair roots so the hair does not grow back thicker and darker. Dermaplaning resurfaces the skin resulting in a youthful appearance.
Dermaplaning can be done every 4-6 weeks and in addition to other skin treatments.
